The insulation pressphan paper is a high-performance insulation material made from 100% electrical grade kraft wood pulp, specifically for demanding electrical applications, commonly used in transformer windings. It utilizes high-purity, unbleached cork sulfate pulp, processed through a special wet-pressing and simultaneous drying process, resulting in exceptional dimensional stability, mechanical strength, and superior electrical properties. 

The insulation pressphan paper is same material with Transformer Insulation Pressboard characterized by natural brown color, high purity and very high oil absorption enabling its usage as inter layer insulation in transformers, motors & capacitors applications.

The insulation pressphan paper is renowned for its high withstand voltage and excellent transformer oil impregnation capabilities, forming a reliable oil-cellulose dielectric composite. It can withstand short-term high thermal loads, ensuring reliability under transient conditions. Widely used as insulating material in Power & Distribution Transformers, Capacitors in form of Winding Cylinders, Spacers, Key Way, Strips etc.

The insulation pressphan paper is available in a wide range of thicknesses, from 0.10 mm to 4.00 mm, and is offered in various sizes, with dimensions customizable to specific design requirements. The standard width of the rolls is 1000mm.

It is widely used in power and distribution transformers and capacitors as winding sleeves, gaskets, keyways, and strips. Its consistent quality also makes it an ideal substrate for precision-machined components such as radial and axial gaskets.
