FH/FHF insulation kapton tape is made of polyimide film coated with polyperfluoroethylene propylene resin (F46, FEP) on one side (FH) or both sides (FHF)and sintered at high temperature. This film combines the char-acteristics of polyimide film and fluorine plastic, is resistant tohigh and low temperatures, is not easy to burn, and has flameretardancy reaching UL-94 V0 level.

Similar to DuPont Kapton® FN technology, this product is designed for extreme temperatures and harsh electrical environments, achieving a perfect combination of high-temperature resistance, superior electrical insulation, and heat-sealing capabilities. Structure and Types

Raw material: Polyimide (PI) film

• Provides extremely high thermal stability, operating continuously within a temperature range of -269°C to +260°C (peak short-term up to 400°C).

• Possesses excellent mechanical strength, tear resistance, and dimensional stability.

• Has outstanding dielectric properties, making it a highly efficient electrical insulator.

Functional Coating: Fluorinated ethylene propylene (FEP) resin

Provides heat-sealing and heat-bonding capabilities, melting at specific heating temperatures (typically around 290-370°C) to form a strong and reliable seal with itself or other materials.

Enhances the overall material's chemical resistance, flame retardancy, and aging resistance.

Product Model Differentiation

• FH Type: Single-sided FEP coating. Suitable for applications requiring single-sided bonding of the insulation layer to a conductor or other substrate.

• FHF type: Double-sided FEP coating. Provides double-sided heat-sealing capability, suitable for interlayer insulation, encapsulation, or complex structures requiring double-sided bonding.
