Phenolic Paper Laminated Insulation Tube

Phenolic paper insulation tubes are tubular insulating materials made by impregnating electrical paper with phenolic resin and then hot-pressing them. The electrical insulation tubes are widely used in insulating components of electrical equipment such as transformers and motors, possessing excellent dielectric properties and mechanical strength.

Phenolic Paper Tube Product Definition and Technical Characteristics

Material Structure: 0.07-0.08mm electrical paper is coated on one side with phenolic resin adhesive (0.1mm adhesive layer), then heated, rolled, baked, and cured.

Performance Indicators:

• Water Absorption: ≤3% (wall thickness ≤6mm) to ≤2% (wall thickness >6mm).

• Vertical Withstand Voltage: ≥9kV/mm for wall thickness ≤3mm, calculated according to formula for wall thickness >3mm.

• Compressive Strength: ≥68.9MPa (axial).

Appearance Requirements of phenolic paper electrical insulation tubes: Smooth surface without delamination, slight wrinkles and core mold indentations are permissible, and the ends are neatly cut. Industry Applications and Standards of Phenolic Paper Tubes

Typical Applications:

* Distribution transformer winding bobbins (≤6300kVA).

Standards: JB/T 3172-1999 specifies nominal inner diameter 5-1200mm and wall thickness 1-50mm.

Storage Conditions: Temperature ≤35℃, relative humidity ≤75%.
