Heat Shrinkable Sleeve PE Shrink Tubes Insulation

Heat shrink tubes is an insulating sleeve made of high-quality PE material. Materials used in heat shrink tubes:

Polyolefin heat shrink tubing can withstand temperatures up to 125°C to 135°C and begins to shrink at 100°C. Adhesive-lined heat shrink tubes: Adhesive-lined heat shrink tubing consists of two layers. The outer polyolefin layer and the inner layer begin to shrink at the same temperature. The adhesive layer moves, fills gaps, and ultimately conforms to the contours of the object being wrapped. After the adhesive layer cools, the sealed object can be used as an environmental seal, effectively preventing moisture and other interference.

Other Materials

Besides the adhesive layer, other materials can be used for heat shrink tubing, including polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), fluorinated ethylene propylene (FEP), polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), elastomers, silicone rubber, fluororubber (Viton), and other specialty materials.

Heat Shrink Tubes Thickness

Generally, stretching reduces the thickness of an object; the more you stretch, the thinner it becomes. However, with heat shrink tubing, the opposite is true; the tubing increases in thickness as it shrinks.
