Mica Insulation Tape Introduction

Mica tape is a kind of tape insulating material, which is made of mica paper or powder-mica paper, electronic alkali-free glass fiber cloth, and laminated, baked, and sliced. 

Mica Insulation Tape Applications:

Type of Mica Tapes

1. According to the different types of mica, it can be divided into phlogopite mica tape, muscovite mica tape, calcined mica tape, and synthetic mica tape.

2. According to the different reinforcing materials, it can be divided into glass fiber reinforcing band, film reinforcing band, glass fiber + film reinforcing band (three in one zone). 

3. According to the shape of mica it can be divided into mica tape and powder-mica tape. The mica tape is widely used in special fire-resistant and flame-retardant cables. The powder-mica tape is widely used in large and medium-sized high voltage motors/alternators operating at 155°C.

4. There is also polyamide film epoxy powder-mica tape, vacuum pressure impregnation of epoxy mica tape, etc.

Storage

In a dry environment at room temperature, the storage period is 3 years.

Packaging

Sealed with plastic film, and packed in a carton. The fumigation-free pallet shall be used when exporting. Each pallet contains <1000KG, or protected by a metal drum.
