PMP Capacitor Insulation Paper is a three-layer flexible insulating material, formed by two-layer of electrical insulation capacitor paper and one-layer of polyester film with a specialized adhesive.
Structure & Composition of PMP capacitor insulation paper:
PMP paper is manufactured by calendering two outer layers of fine capacitor paper with a central core of polyester film, bonded together by a specialized adhesive. This robust construction combines the benefits of all three components into a single, unified material.
Top and bottom: Two layers of capacitor paper
Middle layer: One layer of polyester film
An adhesive bonds these three layers together and then calenders them.
The PMP capacitor insulation paper offers excellent dielectric strength and mechanical properties, including high insulation resistance, robust tensile strength, and good temperature tolerance. This material is widely used in the manufacturing of cast resin voltage transformers, electrical motors, and various other electrical equipment where reliable insulation performance is essential.

A: Chengrui Insulation can provide custom processing according to drawings, not only raw insulation materials. Common processing includes strip cutting, punching, chamfering, slotting, CNC machining, and components etc.
Q: Is this material suitable for my transformer type, oil-immersed or dry-type?
A: Chengrui Insulation can offer insulation materials both for oil-immersed transformers and dry-type transformers. Common materials for oil-immersed transformers include electrical kraft paper, diamond dotted paper, crepe paper, insulation pressboard, pressboard strips, oil duct spacers, insulation cylinders, and laminated wood. They are widely used for winding insulation, interlayer insulation, end insulation, oil ducts, and support structures. For dry-type transformers requiring higher thermal performance, we normally recommend NMN, NHN, AMA, polyimide film, epoxy fiberglass sheets, etc
