Product Overview

Polyester composite insulation board is manufactured by bonding multiple layers of polyester film and polyester nonwoven fabric with a special heat-resistant adhesive, followed by surface treatment with a special insulating resin. It is primarily used to form insulation cylinders between high-voltage and low-voltage windings in dry-type transformers.

Chengrui Polyester Composite Insulation Sheet is designed for forming insulating cylinders and barriers between high-voltage and low-voltage windings in dry-type transformers.

The material is manufactured by bonding multiple layers of polyester film (PET) and polyester nonwoven fabric with a heat-resistant adhesive. After lamination, the outer surfaces receive a special insulating resin treatment.

The composite combines electrical insulation, mechanical strength and formability. Low shrinkage and low moisture absorption help maintain dimensional stability, while the material can be cut and formed into cylindrical barriers to suit transformer winding designs.

Storage and Shelf Life

Store upright in a dry, well-ventilated and clean environment at room temperature. Keep away from flames, heat sources and direct sunlight.

The shelf life is 12 months under the specified storage conditions. Material beyond this period may still be used after inspection confirms compliance with the required specifications.
