What Is PTFE Coated Fiberglass Adhesive Tape?

PTFE coated fiberglass adhesive tape is produced by coating woven fiberglass cloth with PTFE resin, then applying silicone pressure-sensitive adhesive on one side.

The fiberglass cloth provides dimensional stability and tensile strength.

The PTFE coating provides a low-friction, non-stick and chemical-resistant surface.

The silicone adhesive allows the tape to be applied easily to metal surfaces, machine parts, rollers, heating bars and sealing jaws.

A release liner is usually added to protect the adhesive before use.
